Dual handed decapitation

Post » Wed Sep 21, 2011 6:49 am

So with the 1-hand "Decapitation" perk, im quite confused. Do dual weapons count as 2-handed since we use both hands, or only 1 hand because we use 1 hand for seperate weapons not 2 hands for 1 weapon... if that makes sense... basically is dual weapon 1 handed or 2 handed... because im sinceriously hoping the decaption perk extends to dual weapons...

@KingMyro
Just saying it seems odd that the heavy, brutal, 2 handed style designed for dismemberment is NOT getting it.

@DCDeacon
@KingMyro I didn't say it wasn't.

There's your answer ;)

I think the OP was referring to dual-wielding, not to 2-handed weapons. Dual-wielding counts as the one-handed skill, so it will get decapitations. Glad to hear 2-handed weapons will as well :)

Dual weapons will be considered one-handed and I'd assume the decapitation perk would apply. I'm more worried about 2 handed weapons but from the sounds of things that should be possible as well.

Exactly, so much news about decapitation is making my head spin! I've have long awaited a swift end to a TES battle where my enemies head slides off his shoulder and rolls down the hill.

Just think with decapitation confirmed and river-movement phsyics confirmed, we can cut the heads off our foes/townspeople/gaurds/Imperial Gaurds and send them down a river as a message to the next town that death is on their doorstep...
