Shortly after the entrance into Hopeville and the conversation with Ulysses, I encountered a bug involving the quest "The Job".

After making my way to the map marker, I engaged two enemies who had just appeared. I killed one quickly, but the other quickly ran and equipped Red Glare then glitched himself under the map. It seems that the only way to force him to surface is to have ED-E attack him. After he surfaced and was killed, I searched his corpse and found The Blade of The West and Red Glare(which I assume is the "designator"). Afterwords, I found that the map marker lead to where Red Glare spawned was still there and i had no way to further progress.

I've tried re-equipping Red Glare after dropping it, but this accomplishes absolutely nothing. I've tried reloading my save and going back to the same location 6 times and the same has occurred each time.

Any help, advice, or clarification would be greatly appreciated.
