How you would play a:

I'm going to be creating these fun kind of threads, where you can explain how you would use the game to create types of characters.

Tell me about weapon use, appearance, race, magic use, clothes (not that we know of any just now). Remember we don't select a class anymore in Skyrim.
also mention which factions you might join - how you might equip your character for travel or simulate mythological abilities, like trying to subdue
an opponent to avoid killing them.

I'd use my fists only to attack with a mix of illusion and restoration. Mainly wearing robes and light clothing.

Alchemy may be a good addition too, but maybe it would be more fitting for a western monk?

I love Shaolin kung fu. But only if we don't have to shave our heads!

Race: Altmer
Weapons: Hand to hand, Alchemy, maybe Archery
Appearance: Bald, wears robes with hood down. Kindly face. Very tranquil and calm.
Magic: Restoration, Alteration, Illusion, Enchanting.
Factions: The Companions, maybe College of Winter's Hold.

If at all possible this guy would knock people out using poisons or paralyse using his fists rather than killing them. He'd also be capable of calming or terrifying with a touch or a look. He would never ride a horse. He would probably only use his bow for hunting. He would most likely eschew major cities, although he may stop in from time to time to take on the more morally/philosophically sound jobs from the Companions. He'd most likely refuse any sort of reward.

Huh, remember that quest in Oblivion involving a group of blind monks? That was just creepy.
