The pc Crashes and gets black screen

Post » Thu Sep 22, 2011 6:16 am

Hello i bought crysis a few days ago. I have a Q6600 processor and a Nvidia geforce 8800 gt, i just upgraded a new driver to it so it runs very smooth on Very high but now the computer sometimes crashes or something. I get a blackscreen but the computer is still on and it says Energy saving mode and if i shut off the screen and turn it on again its still black. What should i do?

This is a known bug in Crysis 2. CryTek already told us that they are not going to patch the game anymore but there is a workaround. You should try to decrease your gfx-card's memory clock speed to 850mHz.
