Last minute Oblivion for old times sake?

Post » Thu Sep 22, 2011 6:37 pm

Well, Skyrim's slowly approaching people. And I think might make this thread to see what people will do close to Skyrim's launch.

Myself, I will be going Oblivion CRAZY, for old time's sake. I'll be putting a lot of time into Oblivion so Skyrim will be fresh and new for me. I love :tes:, but not so much I'll stay up for the midnight release.

So this topic is pretty straightforward...where will you be on 11/10/11 and will you go back and play Morrowind and/or Oblivion?

Discuss in the magic boxes below...

I'm going to be at the midnight release with some friends. I might never touch Oblivion again sadly since it is so hard to get into it now, I don't see how I would do it after Skyrim....

I've played Oblivion a bit too much. So much that I find it hard to do anything.

I'll be on here on the 10th because the Australians get it first on that day. Connection? I was planning on a unofficial screenshot of your character thread. :D

I wanted to play Oblivion again, but it got stolen from a friend's house about 2 years ago. He never gave me a copy back. It svcks, because that was my first game on the next gen systems. I just pre-ordered Gears of War 3 the other day, so I get 20 dollars off my next game purchase. So, Skyrim will be getting pre-ordered within the next week or so! AWWWW YEEEEEAH. :disguise:

On 10.11.11, I will be playing Morrowind and Oblivion, and staying off these forums. (The game will already be out in Australia and Europe)

In Morrowind, I will go to Solstheim and explore.
In Oblivion, I will walk around the Jeral Mountains disable borders and go to Skyrim in Oblivion.

After that, I'm going to Gamestop for the midnight release.

Gonna do the same once I am done with the SI main story. Literally it is all I got left RP wise in Oblivion

Also you gave me an idea, I will save my Morrowind character with my last save ever in Western, SW Solsthiem, facing Skyrim :D

I shall have my laptop set up to talk on the forums, while I play a little Oblivion. Then, I will go to my local midnight release

I'm playing Oblivion (first time, yes for real) right now and will probably play MW3 and make vids with it those 3 days before Skyrim. So I know it wont be an agonizing wait for me anyway.

Me and several friends are planning on showing up to the Skyrim midnight launch with our Oblivion discs, and sledgehammers.

Luckily I have an Academic Decathlon mock tournament that day, so I won't be shaking with anticipation for it all day. I'll also be driving another guy to GameStop from the tournament.

I started another character again in oblivion during the summer, played the heck out of that, so I'm set for that.

I started morrowind again as well. I bought the game in 2004 with bloodmoon and tribunal but I never got passed that very first part of the main quest where you have to retrieve the cube in the dwemer ruin. I also never leveled past 3 on any of my characters. So now I'm on a character of level 5 at the moment and I got a good bit further in the main quest so i'll be enjoying all I missed before skyrim comes out.

When I read this with that sad Pinkamena next to it I can't help but think you're depressed or let down about this decision. XD

On 11/10/11 I'll be sitting on my butt eating ice cream and watching the last remaining episodes of X-Files reruns. Or, I'll be playing Oblivion -- which is something I tend to do a lot of lately, for the very same reasons that you do.

Class, then working late. I'm actually glad for that though, it will make the day go by quicker.

I didn't care much of oblivion so I didn't get it. Also no point of thinking about it now with skyrim so close to coming.^_^

On 10/11/11 I will be at school and playing BF3.
Also I cant re-play oblivion because I lended that to my friend as well as morrowind so that he can get into the elder scrolls games before skyrim comes out.
