Just how long before someone makes a video with the combination of elements in the title?

Bethesda can't really be held to account for the modding community, but if you can combine the thread elements in vanilla Skyrim, how do you think the media might react?

Same way they always do. Possitive is that the older generation, who fought their elders for the rights to dance and drink no less, are starting to retire making way for people who grew up playing games.

Our generation is fighting for games, same as how previous generations fought for other ways to express ones self. Ours is a slightly harder fight however, in that our expression of art sadly usually is how many ways we can splatter blood. Still, things for games will turn around when we get older and something new shows up and we start to yell, scream, and kick as soon as it hits the market. :shrug:

To be honest though, with games like Mortal Combat TES will likely fly under the fox-radar.

I hope there are going to be some cool Skyrim Machinima.

It contains a lot of things that fox viewers fear. I don't know about same six relationships because i haven't been interested in the relationship side of Skyrim.

It may effect the rating. Fallout 3 as banned i think in India because of the two headed brahmin.

I think they just changed the name of the brahmin. That's what I heard at least.

Huh...I didn't know that, though I guess I can see how when many of those countries respect cows greatly. It'll probably garner some attention. But I'd be suprised if anything major happened.

Anyway, this should be a non-issue. I mean, sure, you can simulate domestic violence...but you can also simulate mass murder which every one does in these kind of sand box games.

In Japan, they got rid of the Nuke and the quest to blow up Megaton and the Fat Boy launcher.

I knew about that one, and it's for pretty obvious reasons. But the basic punching mechanic standing in the same game with a romance option I don't think will cause to huge of a media explotion. Ya know? It's been done before, kinda sorta.

Gay Marriage? I really don't think anyone will really care. I just dont see it becoming some hot topic issue.

The media always reacts the same way when a sandbox game comes out. To them, choosing to do something = forced to do something. You don't have to kill prosttutes and cops in Grand Theft Auto, and there's actually a lot more to the games, but what footage do they always show when talking about violent video games? Controversy and outrage almost always trump fairness and truth when it comes to news stories.
