"Finally, third person finishing moves occur automatically, and can be disabled. These occur much like the slow motion effects in Fallout 3."

Dang, :facepalm: check a few pages before making a new thread. BRB when I find it to link. P.S. The writer of the article doesn't know what it's talking about

I'm looking forward to the finishing moves. I've seen some new ones recently and they are really gruesome. But the option to disable it is nice in case they get repetitive.

Ah, sorry about that, I usually just browse the first page, and I'm pretty sure the writer of the article knows what he is talking about. XD

EDIT: Seems there's a bit of speculation about the last words the writer has said, well we'll see if it's confirmed or we'll find out when the game comes out.

That's why we have 20 pages of topics that only go back 2 days. Any way read the topic and you "should" understand, especially if you know anything about Bethesda and Pete.

The writers grammer fails(if he is English) or he isnt legit. Im almost certain its the latter. Also Pete Hinds has said it multiple times that you cannot.

It's already been confirmed by Pete that you can't, and is a lot more likely the article was incorrect. That or Pete has been screwing with us, or due to the negative reaction, they've added the ability to disable it. I can only hope thats the case but don't get your hopes up.

Until we get further confirmation from someone at gamesas that either Pete was right or the magazine was right (and they have changed something) then I would not like to make a guess as what the true situation is. I'd prefer there was an option to turn them off, given the fuss there has been I can understand if they have added that, however, I don't know how practical that might have been to implement.

ihlvr @DCDeacon There's only one thing I worry about: forced 3rd person finishing moves. Can you please tell me if these will be optional or not?

@DCDeacon Pete Hines
@ihlvr I have to have said numerous times now you cannot turn them off. Sorry, it's a part of the game.

It's not about scouring the forums, it is about taking a few seconds to look at more than the first page. It would be much easier to find info if it wasn't posted 15 times, then other info gets lost and then that info is posted again ect.. Some people have discussions on one topic that others can learn from but because it's pushed back a new one gets started and it starts over again LOL. Going to the second or third page to check for new info takes 5 seconds unless you have dial-up or can't read.
