Hey everyone ive just bin watching the video on youtube of the interview featuring skyrims lead artist Matt Carofano. I cant provide a link because im on my phone its a old interview done by some idiot wearing a squid bear t-shirt who acts like hes jus sniffed a kilo of skooma, i think the majority of you will know who i mean...
Anyway to the point, whilst talking about vampires matt says to the interviewer " you can sneak up on people at night and drain there blood..." . Now i would love this, stalking your prey till you find a suitable spot then draining them of there blood. It would add a more interesting way of playing a vampire. But Since vampires were annouced a few weeks ago tho in Todds "big announcement" all ive seen in interviews ect is "you can svck blood of a sleeping npc" so now am confused are we stuck to just creeping round bedrooms again or can we feed whenever we like if anyone can shed some light it would be hugely appreciated n am sori if this has bin done before...
I would like to see them adopt a Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines approach to feeding. If you catch someone unawares they will have little to no chance of resisting. If you get seen by anyone when you are feeding, they all freak out (as well they should). Perhaps you could have the guard hunting you down for a while since they know your a vampire. In combat, you can feed to replenish your health and deal damage to the enemy however since they are in combat with you they can resist. In VMB a higher brawl (hand 2 hand) skill makes it easier to hold down resisting prey but with no h2h in Skyrim perhaps base it off another skill. Or even vampire specific perks.
Either way, I really hope we aren't limited to feeding in bedrooms again
