I just want to make sure this list is ok without getting too deep into the game. I've had a few ctds, though not majorly frequently, so I would just like someone with a brain (i.e - not me) to have a little look and tell me if there is anything obviously wrong, so I can start again without having got too far in.

do you run MGE?

yeah, I'm using version 3.8.2-SVN_rev-187

022 and 026 are MWSE patches, MGE uses MWSE already so you might want to go to the misc tab in MGE and uncheck Disable internal MWSE version, and run MWSE with it, or leave it checked and do not rum MWSE.

If that is not it I am not sure what really

Two things that might help:

Apply the 4gb patch to the .exe
Install to a location other than program files (if that's where you have it installed)

With those two things done I didn't see a CTD for about two weeks.
