Lonesome Road Armour glitch!

Post » Fri Sep 23, 2011 4:03 pm

I've found an armor glitch with the Riot Armour's Head wear in Lonesome Road. You can equip the 1st Recons beret with the Riot armor helmet it just merges with it and gives you extra power ups!

I'm fairly sure that the 1st Recon Beret has been notorious for it's glitches. Such as, being meshable with the Avanci thing from OWB. Sorry to burst your bubble.

A glitch I DID find though, (I don't know if anyone else experienced this) there was an invisible Tunneler in the collapsed overpass tunnel. It wasn't like a Nightkin where it would shimmer in the light, it was invisible as if it weren't there. It kept attacking me and I couldn't see where it was until the little aim thing turned red. I fired and killed it and its invisible body parts became visible and floated in mid air. :3

Same thing happened here with the "invisible" tunneler, Ed-E blew it away for me before I could target it. :D
Iron sights shooting is good there instead of VATS, if ya have a clue to where it is.

ED-E has already died like 3 times in my play through. :3 I'm glad I'm not on hardcoe. xDDD I tried VATS and couldn't target it. I think Update 7 made it so you can only target enemies in your spectrum of view. Before Update 7 I could target things from behind me that I didn't even know were there. I can tell they also fixed the "annoyance" (not really a glitch) of accidentally targeting your companion.

As I was saying, I couldn't target it, but that was probably because it was behind me. I don't know.

Being on hardcoe wouldn't matter because
Spoiler
ED-E is essential in LR and cannot die regardless of mode.

When I first got a Riot helmet I was wearing the 1st Recon Beret. After equipping the helmet I went into 3rd person view to take a look and was thinking "what the H E double hockey sticks is that maroon piece of carpet doing on my helmet?!" :)
