Well it won't crash your game or anything like that, and considering the male armour doesn't show too much skin (as it shouldn't, considering it's armour) then you shouldn't notice any skin texture issues.

Readme states this

For females , this mod supports Vanilla, HGEC, TGND version 1 and 2, and Roberts female body. The male version, which is not shown, uses the Vanilla body exclusively.
