To all of you that had trouble reading. I said content OTHER THEN DLC EXCLUSIVES like a tshirt, books, discount. Physical stuff. I'm generally against the preorder wars as well but I thought for LA Noire it worked really well. There were alot of people that didn't want the shirt so they could get the discount or whatever. And I was referring to the preorder bundle with the books. Not just "the game and pictures."

No.

Because it's dumb.

Simple and to the point. :foodndrink: I think including in game exclusives is despicable.

Skyrim doesn't have any specific cut or created content exclusive to retailers. That's been confirmed since July or August.

There's preorder intiatives in retailers all around but it's the cloth map. No ingame content. Which I prefer.

Atleast Bethesda Softworks is doing something right. And I'm sure Bethesda Game Studios is happy too.

It would be nice if it came with a t-shirt or maybe some books or something.

Well in New Zealand if you preorder at EBgames you get the game, steelbook case, 4 art cards, the premium map, and a debossed notebook. If you preorder from mightyape you get both the novels and the premium map and from jbhifi you get the game, map and guide. People stop saying no you don't get any because you actually do in some countries.

Bringing this thread back to say Amazon and Walmart now offer 10$ gift card with preorder so :meh: to all you "no cuz its dumbbbb" ppl. It just really svcks that I have to get it shipped to my home from wal mart. If I could pick it up at midnight AND get 10$ card this would definitely be the way to go.

The Austrailian retailer deal with the two official books sounds nice.
