Okay ive played oblivion with a bunch of different types of builds and got pretty close to doing most of the game through 1 or two of them. But i want to play another before Skyrim and make it be a powerful mage character.

I choose a breton but Im not sure what birthsign is better, atronach or apprentice. I heard the breton has a 50% resistance to magic so with the apprentince instead of 100% with that birthsign, it would cancel out to be only 50%. But if i choose atronach willpower would be pretty much useless? So what do you guys use for a second attribute.

And for skills, I think blade for one and for the alchemy part. But then i was also thinking alchemy levels fast so should i use that as a major?
