state of the player

I just want to thank bethesda. I absolutely fell in love with Morrowind for the xbox. It was a GREAT game. The only downside I found was how easy it was to win. My character was quite strong.

I spent HOURS exploring , Everyone knew me. I was the messiah. Not only that, but I could literally fly around after all of my hard exploring. My brother did flash my xbox before I had a chance to kill the dude in the mountain with the 9 seals of whatever. Dagoth ur or some garbage?

Sure, woulda loved to see him go down. Maybe its better that hes out there somewhere. The game felt real. it was engrossing.

I [censored] you not, I have been having depression . Nothing current meets my standards. I just want to railgun in unreal championship. I want double jumping rocket fights with 6 players in a seamless environment.

I want scary , lose all your [censored] reset your experience bar to zero [censored] your online career make you drop out of school to play when you died cause you [censored] with the wrong guild play.

Stores of all types have scared and scarred me as of late. When my little brother (who plays , and loves every game that gets released) showed me skyrim I really felt good. I felt like , finally here is a game I can enjoy and space out on and just be some half magical bastard from the north , hey maybe ill even get some digital play from a valkyrie .

You know what I mean? that feeling you get from a book that you cant put down?

So i Saw the graphics, I saw some of the basic gameplay elements. And I am blown away. im PRAYING there aren't certain elements I was not fond of. IE . Being able to teleport around the map, or any sort of "fast travel" option.

Look, if im good at running, or own a horse i want that to pay off. Maybe I own my own zeppelin or boat. Either way, if theres a good chance some thief will jump from a bush and stab me to death for a few copper ALL the more reason to walk down that shady path.

Also, It should be hard. I mean really hard. Assuming there are ways to save your progress, or some type of harsh penalty for dying... I want to give up in certain areas, farm myself on side quests (because I absolutely have to in order to be strong enough) to kill so and so, the bastard who is enslaving some small town.

anyhow, no need to rant any further with no real point other than to say, I am already sold and look forward to the experience, whatever it may be.

I do have some questions.

Can we EVER expect an elder scrolls multiplayer online experience? I am sure that is a whole nother realm of what the [censored]... But as far as pure and good fantasy goes with half decent concepts backing it... life is lacking. Consider all the peoples lives which are being ruined by truly zombifying online experiences.

Will this title be "hard" am i going to have to really think about certain aspects of my playstyle? or am I going to be another messiah from level 3 or 4 or so?

Guess not much to ask about the storyline itself.. Again, nice work... High fantasy/ messiah ish morrowind really was cool. Especially with the guild houses and the blades thing going on. Multiple levels of cool.

and even though I did not get far into oblivion... the whole astrological trip was cool too. Really cool.

Oh yes. PS3, Xbox, and my PC. I really love playing these sorts of games on console. It makes the experience more legit somehow. I find myself considering going PC with this release. The graphics (or rather, the ARTWORK) is top notch.
Yeah, PC ... tell me I am right.

basically I simply don't want a purely cinematic experience from the game. Make it hard, make my head bleed.

excuse this post for its form and presentation.... I really couldn't even tell you whats going through my head , at this time or any other time.

There will be fast travel, however it comes with a price/stipulation

There's autosaving or you can manually save

The game can be as hard as you want to make it, with different settings etc.

Never will be multiplayer

Def not a cinematic experience. Everything happens ingame
