I'm having a little trouble deciding where my loyalty should lie. When I started the game I felt NCR was probably "the good guys" and so I've been doing missions for them and basically from what I can tell so far they are decent until recently I learned they sort of roll over anyone they can and that they don't help feed freeside. I killed Benny and gave Mr House the platinum chip and he showed me his new powerful sercuritrons, and I can't tell if he's going to unleash terminators on everyone or if he might have a better plan for the people.

I mean as far as I can tell Mr House is probably a computer.

Basically I want to help the good guys but it's not clear who they are. I don't want all the people destroyed or something. Who should I help? Or does it even matter?

I want to kill Caesar because he just seems insane, but MR house wants him alive. Is the NCR the good guys? That is sort of what my gut feeling is... but it's hard to tell the damn story isn't very straight forward like Oblivion. Choices? Good lord I'm almost overwhelmed with all these factions. I mean it's pretty cool but at the same time I think the obvious choice should be more obvious.

I wouldn't call them good but they're not evil either. They do what they can to make it a better world but their approach is for their own best interest. You can do it their way or you can do it their way.

House cares about Vegas. To me he wants to build a city state not save the world, yet.

I wouldn't call Caesar insane, he is very focused on his goals and how to accomplish them. He just employees devious, insane, power mad people to achieve his goals. My opinion of Caesar is he's a megalomaniac.
