I dont understand why everyone keeps crying about fast travel, and how it "ruins" the game. This is so unnecessary for one painfully obvious reason.
ITS OPTIONAL
You cant complain that it ruins the game for you if you have the reasonable option to avoid it. You dont get penalized for not using it, if you want to enjoy the scenery and explore, the do it, no need to complain. I dont mind fast travel, I like getting alot done in little time, especially on 2nd playthroughs when I want to get to specific parts of the game. I just dont understand what the complaining is about.

I thought all the complaining pretty much stopped when it came out that there was a viable alternative? I haven't seen any complaining threads (about that) in a while, at least. :shrug:

[Edit] Just took a quick peek at the last 4 pages, none of the titles seemed to suggest anyone was complaining about fast travel in any of those... am I missing something?

Who is complaining about Skyrim's fast travel? I believe the big complaint in OB was the lack of a silt strider like system now Skyrim has the carriage system, so everything is fine now. There is no need to hear anyone complain about it now.

I will never ever use fast travel in a game, you miss a large part of a game like Skyrim by fast traveling, all the wildlife and dynamic events. That said I have no complaints about it being in because I am not forced to use it.

It made me laugh when I heard that there were OB Mods that deactivated fast travel. If you don't like it don't use it, it couldn't be any simpler.
