I keep seeing when browsing the forums someone casually mention that werewolves are confirmed, but I haven't seen any threads regarding this nor does anyone ever source this. Was there definate confirmation of werewolves in the game?

They have said that they don't want to confirm whether they're in or out, so most people are assuming they're in because otherwise they would just go right out and say they're not in the game instead of keeping everybody's hopes up just to have them be disappointed on release.

But most likely we'll have to wait for the game to come out to know for sure.

one min i'm hearing they're "confirmed" the the next thng people are not sure. i don't know to be honest but for some

Still no official word yet. At this point it would be a pretty big disappointment if for no other reason than Bethesda wouldn't confirm either way.

My guess is that Werewolves will make an appearance (there will be one the you have to hunt for a side-quest or some such thing), but that they won't have a major impact on the game (the player may not be able to be infected).

They were confirmed 4 days ago... it was at gamescon, they actually showed a youtube video of the change, it goes to a 3rd person view and rotates while he changes into a werewolf! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0
