Skyrims first hours?

Post » Sat Sep 24, 2011 4:35 pm

Skyrim is around the corner and with all the news and videos that release we all get more and more excited. We've heard of some of things you can do, some of the towns and environments, and new features. Think for a minute. You sit down and the Skyrim loading screen pops up, press start and ta da Skyrim! I guess there will probably be a tutorial start to the game but after that when you finally enter Skyrim. Where will you go way will you do? Will you start the main quest or spend hours exploring? How long will you play for? I want to know what people are planning on doing on the first sit down with Skyrim. Will you play all night and day? Thought it would fun to discuss what your excited about and what you dying to
do since the day you saw it in a video or heard of it on the forums?

Me?
I will go to the straight toward highest mountain and just look out in awe. Those were my plans but I now know that is close to impossible now that I started Oblivion, it's so easy to be distracted. So I guess I'll try to head toward a mountain but no matter what I will just be taking it all in. The quest will have to wait, I love exploring. Also I am going to the midnight release but I will not be playing when I get home at 1am. I will sleep so I can wake up super early and have a full day at it. Can't wait! What will you do?

Stare at the beauty that's before me, then send a message to everyone saying my last goodbyes.

create character for hours.
then.
proabaly go to a city talk to some locals. learn some lore pick up a quest steal a weapon get caught. refuse arrest. die. try to steal horse. get caught. die. walk to quest get sidetracked and wind up not completing anything for the first 6 hours.

Honestly, I'm probably going to spend the first few hours creating my character.

But, I'll likely...oh, what am I kidding, I'll play all night.

Kill some bandits, find a town, start a bar fight, walk to Solitude. All on my own version of hardcoe Mode.

[No map but the preorder bonus map, no HUD, no compass, navigating using the moon, sun and Throat of the World, sleeping at night, eating meals, no crossing water while wearing armor, no fast travel and no waiting.]

I am going to explore, I want to see all of the cities those will be my first destinations. As I explore I want to learn all of the games new systems such as alchemy, enchanting, smithing and the combat to name a few. :tes: Then in my travels I want to see all of the houses available to buy or acquire then I will amass a fortune and buy them all. I cannot wait to get my hands on this game it will be epic in every sense of the word. :tes:

I like this. I think I might try an impromtu HC mode like this as well. Kudos sir.
