How many types of Dragon should their be in the game?

Post » Sat Sep 24, 2011 10:58 pm

Ok, in the demo Todd fights a fire Dragon and a Frost Dragon, so I'd like to know how many types of different Dragons their are in the game and what peoples ideas are on this number as well as what type of Dragon you would love to fight the most?

I'll start off... no clue as to how many their could be or even should be, but I would love to fight a Dragon with super speed!
I imagine he would be tough!

A dragon with super speed? That is a hurtful thought :cryvaultboy:

If you can use a Dragon shout to slow down time and make you quicker, is it not logical to asume that their will be Dragons in the game with the same powers given that your learning to harness the power of their language?
And if they wont be in the game, who cares! it would still be awesome to have them in lol!

Cliff Racing Dragons?

Since we've got fire and frost, maybe they'll be shock dragons?
I wouldn't mind a slow, flightless rock dragon or something.

As many types of Dragons as possible, variety is the spice of life after all. :tops:

Just so long as fire dragons do not become extinct like scamps or low level atronochs when I reach level 70. I would like to see the full variety at higher levels, and there can be 100 different ones for all I care.

I'm hoping that even if there are only a few dragon types...they will have some features that can be randomized. That way, even if we are fighting for example, two frost dragons, or encounter the same types of dragons back to back, each one looks slightly different from the other, but are still recognizably the same type.

A 3rd dragon's also been confirmed: a green/yellow dragon, serpentine in appearance and has an amphibious headcrest.

A larger species of black fire dragon. Deadliest in the tundra and in open areas. Can annihilate Imperial Cavalry.

Almost sounds like some form of poison natured one....

Earth Maybe.....could be a Dragon for each element from the sounds of it....

I mean we have regular (Fire), then Frost (Water?), now this green one apparently....

I was guessing poison/venom as well. But it could be aquatic in nature, perhaps? found near the coasts maybe. But who knows.

That fits with what I'm thinking though.

A dragon type ratio of 1:1 with each of the basic elemental spells. We just haven't seen one that fits it yet.

If I remember right, it was implied there are more types then we know of....

maybe not so much a 'thunder dragon' but perhaps a dragon that has a shout that calls storms.

Perhaps a lightning dragon or a water dragon. But I don't think the dragons/shouts reside around the elements. Not sure though.
