If you're Australian, you most likely know that the EB Games Expo is coming up soon. It will be showcasing all the big hits, including Skyrim. The thing that really gets to me though, is that the public doesn't get to play it :banghead:
I don't get it, on the website it pretty much shows that we get to play some other major games before release (Mass Effect 3, Battlefield 3 etc). but us Aussie Skyrim fans are left out in the cold becasue we can't have a go.

I think only Journalists have to play fragments of this game
It is pretty hard to allow players to get hands on such game
If they limit game events for the Expo, people will complain that game is streamlined and cramped
If they allow wider events, it may give out spoilers, and also some still unpolished parts of game may become visible
Then people will complain that game is buggy and they now know too much and impression of final game will be ruined
It's not ME where firsts quests are quite linear and tells little story
In TES4 1st quest told quite a story itself, and I don't think that TES5 will be different
So no matter how it is done, people will complain, so it is better not to allow to play Skyrim
