Blacksmithing looks awesome! and so does jumping!

I noticed blacksmithing in one of the videos of Eurogamer in youtube.

It looks like alchemy does, where you see your character in the background doing their business and practically what you do is handle menus. The character is doing all the action automatically, but it still looks awesome! :) You see the character taking a heated sword, puts it down on an anvil and strikes it with a hammer. I guess it means that all of the jobs you're able to do you're only able to do in certain stations (like Pete said) and not in the wilderness.

Now, as for jumping, it actually looks like the world has gravity. First of all the animation is GREAT. FAAAR better than Oblivion and the character keeps moving even when it's in mid air. It raises its arms and all and it looks solid and (at last) believable! Plus! It's not exaggerated at all like it was in Oblivion - you don't feel like you're floating!

I wouldn't say that the jumping looks amazing. It looks good, simply.

I like the blacksmithing.

Idk, when I played it yesterday I found it underwhelming - the animation is canned and still plays even if you have no materials or anything. The animation is good, but it's canned.

So jumping is pretty much like it is in Fallout 3/NV? Cool regardless.

Search eurogamer expo skyrim and filter it for uploaded today. One of the videos shows smithing to the right of the screen.

I thought it looked pretty cool IMO.

Agreed, I Really like the whole 3rd person things in the Menu. Improved a lot since Oblivion.
