Greetings all,

Just hit a rile with Assassin's Creed. Had a great moment, wanted a screenshot ... no feature of the sort is supported. I was wondering if such a feature will be included in Skyrim? If so, great. If not, could I humbly request this simple to implement and greatly desired extra feature. It will allso me to go through my fake life and take pictures of the travels ... record my living of another life.

I thought taking a blurry cellphone photo of the TV screen was the way you take screenshots on consoles...

But seriously, you need video capture hardware for that.

Pretty sure you have to run the video through your PC, it will not come in as a feature.

No you do not, the Xbox 360 uses a version of the Windows operating system, it's conceivably possible to have something like fraps installed, but I'm also pretty sure some other games have a screen capture facility built in.

One of the reasons I wouldn't feel comfortable with a closed system like a console. Taking screenshots and videos whenever I please is a huge advantage on the PC for me.

In Skate 2 can't you make videos on console? Pretty sure theres some other games aswell that will let you record and take screenshots.

Yep. Halo: Reach and Halo 3 too, I believe, both have theater mode which means you can go back and look at your old games and take screen shots and videos.

Although, OP, I don't think it would be as easy to implement as you seem to think. They would most likely have to create a whole new mode for it. If it's not in already, which I doubt it is, they won't put it in this late in the game.

If Driver on Playstation could...

The Halo games also have a screenshot feature. And GTA I believe, though I haven't played it.

Forza Motorsport... Madden NFL.... a lot of those styled games enable you to take screenies on the Xbox, and in some cases upload them to certain sites. In Forza 3, you can record a video of you racing and upload it to a connected Youtube account.

So it is possible, but I doubt BGS will consider it needed to be in the game.

Also GT5, the DIRT games aswell i think and the majority of racing games seem to have it.

But one thing to mention is ALL those games had online features.

And even Call of Duty Black OPS though it's on their servers. I know Uncharted 3 will record footage as well.
