Hircine the Hunter

Post » Sun Sep 25, 2011 7:45 am

Hircine, the huntsman, sire of Lycanthropes, loves to hunt rare, unique or endangered creatures. I was thinking about that, and I realized that the Dovahkiin is in fact the last of his kind.

That kind of reminds me of the Bloodmoon expansion for Morrowind, where Hiricine decides to hunt you.

Any thoughts, comments, or sarcastic DBag remarks?

That is interesting. I never thought of that before. But I really hope Hircine is in the game, I'd love to play a werewolf and do his quests again.

No. I rather be on Hircine's side than be hunted by him. He is also known as the sacrifice of mortals, hence why Lycanthropes gotta kill a person each time they transform. To glorify both hunt and human sacrifice.

You remember Bloodmoon DLC? I reckon he would reward you if you could outsmart him.

You know, that would be a fun Prince to worship in Skyrim. Roleplaying wise. Too bad no spears ;)

Yes. I hear we can worship shrines of Aedra. We even saw statues(Dibella) we can collect and hopefully decorate our houses. So far, we know of a Shrine to Azura. Hopefully, we get on for Hircine.

And so...he shall die.

Just because Esbern is the last "Dragonguard" doesn't mean he's truly special.

Hircine was in Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion, so he'll most likely be present in Skyrim. I just hope we can enter his Daedric realm, it was described vividly in the Infernal City and I would love to see it firsthand.
Hircine and Hermaeus Mora are the two most interesting Daedric Princes (imo). I really hope the Saviors Hide and Lycanthropy make a comeback.
