We better be able to make Gourd birdhouses with them which is pretty much their only use or I will never play another TES AGAIN!

There ya go...

Edit: damn you pavau! Lol

I'm a evil Peacock indeed.

A Curiosity: In Portuguese, Gourds are called "Caba?as". A word that remembers "Caba?o", with in turn is a slang for "Virgin".

There better be a crafting feature where my character can make gourd art, and then sell them at craft sales...

Duh, of course its in the game. Why do you think they added butterfly catching and crafting? So we could collect gourds, rip off butterfly wings, and then use crafting to make a pretty birdhouse covered in colorful wings.

Edit: beaten to the punch again! ^^^

Yes!

When they brought watermelons in during Oblivion, I was a bit uncertain as to how I felt... mostly because there was a noticeable lack of pumpkins and what-have-you to help fill out the 'bulbous plantlife' category. Now that we have gourds, this should open the flood gates.

With any luck, gamesas will announce further melons and vegetables in the near future!

watermelons, pumpkins nice memories...
do you think we will be able to dup them? i already want a room full of them

oh and about your question on Bethesda announcing new Vegetable ...well they promise new videos soon so you get to your own conclusion.

I hate DolarThesda because of their completely disregard about Tamriel Vegetables. You know, those things make the game for gods sake!

Oh! Thank Akatosh! I was debating whether or not to buy the game based on the presence or absence of gourds.

But seriously, I enjoy growing gourds in real life, so I am glad to see them in the game.

I agree with colonel tannanbaum. This will lead the way into innovation with the TES series. I mean we can only hope that pumpkins are introduced in TES 6.

THERE WERE PUMPKINS IN OBLIVION :ahhh:

No, Oblivion's Pumpkins looked to cartoonish without the Pumpkin Mods. I mean, the Pumpkins in Daggerfall were the true hardcoe Pumpkins.

Agreed. Bethesda is selling itself to Micro$oft, the Gourd-Lovers.

Or maybe its just to please the COG (Call of Gourd) crowd.
