As someone looking forward to a new game in the ES series, I found this article to be absolutely absurd.

Absurd not because I'm a hopeless fangirl of Bethesda, but because this article declares with certainty that one unfinished game trounces another in a number of regards, including the core aspect of Skyrim (its dragon encounters).

While the argument can be made that this article represents approx. 1 opinion, the fact is that IGN is a major site and I think this kind of 'journalism' is unprofessional on a couple of levels. Its like the author is trying to convince people to buy Dark Souls instead, on the basis that Skyrim is inferior in each of the multiple regards presented in his post.

Just seems like a slap in the face to Bethesda, imo.

Coming from the idiots who followed the same path as Todd Howard in their Skyrim hands-on demo.

It's been posted twice. And yes it is absurd. IGN is not to be taken seriously though. I certainly don't take them seriously. Besides, their number one reason for saying Dark Souls is better is multiplayer. That says it all right there.

I've seen it. Using multiplayer as one of the reasons is ridiculous.
