No, just baiting. New info is that killing livestock is a crime, which makes sense. Then the Op makes lots of spurious parallels to fable to generate a reaction.

Molyneux is a dreamer. what he says in interviews is not what he will actually do - he's just putting the ideas out there for someone else to do something with, even though nobody ever does.

Radiant Story is an actual thing in an actual game that comes out a little over a month from now. it is in fact a system that's been in development for just about five years! that's an awful lot of years.

Fable was not the first game with companions. also i don't get this "because Fable did it, nobody else can do it" mentality it's [censored] stupid and suggests that everything Fable did was somehow original and didn't date back to Ultima and Ultima Underworld.

Two things:

1. If I was a farmer and you started killing my chickens, there definitely would be consequences.

2. You can't even kill chickens in Fable, they have titanium feathers or something.

Okay, I have no issues with there being repercussions if people saw you hurt/kill the chicken. I just don't want it entered into the "story manager" if no one should know about it. Probably a minor irritant I will need to learn to deal with, though.
