So, according to Todd Almighty "Skyrim has what made Morrowind 'special".

Presumably he's referring to heady, intangible concepts - atmosphere, cultural details, etc.

But what if he's actually referring to something more concrete. Something specific. Something we've seen before.

It made Morrowind special. It drove the plot. It, of course, is The Heart of Lorkhan.

. I think you were right with the atmosphere, cultural details etc.

Whether we, the gamers, agree with Mr. Howard's view is yet to be seen - but I'm hopeful and just a bit excited

It wasn't destroyed, it was just flung into Skyrim in some arbitrary place on the map.
