About grass

I'm rather satisfied my game looks like except one thing - the grass . If I put down my eyes and see something like http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/822/screenshot3zi.jpg/ I feel ill.
I was toying with iGrassDensityEvalSize and iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure but no good result.
How must these meshes be such geometry shaped and "not filed" ?
Is there any way to make things less harsh ? Except bDrawShaderGrass=0 of course. Any meshes replacer ?

In my experience, most of the time grass looks fine, except at extreme angles like you demonstrated. I've never seen it look THAT bad though.
There are a few texture replacers and such, but no mesh replacers as far as I know, it's pretty taxing as it is.
