Umm if he can communicate with rig, he can communicate with Navarro and vice versa. Pretty sure someone there could inform him fev was not released. According to you, if Eden gave order, he did so after rig blown up, richardson dead, so I think he would kinda have an idea.

How he get all this info on FEV then? How diid he have the actual virus to work on? The virus should be protected on rig. Rig destroyed along with FeV. What, you going to say now Autumn sr. Survived rig blast and got his hands on FEV. Makes way more sense if Richardson gave order, gave Autumn sr the fev, which he then leaves rig before destruction, as part of a continuity plan, something that you used to believe. What changed your mind? Buncha garbage about eden being pres advisor or eden given order that is not found ANYWHERE.

Eden can see DC area only. Which, would be where any remnants or pre-war govt would be, so their activity could be known, however, he didn't personally escort them, or know once they got out of dc where they eventually ended up.

What I said was, its plausible that Richardson had a contingency plan in which he said to Autumn sr. (or his top officals, or someone) that "Alright, if this all goes down, I want you to pick up the remnants of your men and head to DC where you will find a self-aware ZAX AI, for the time being, until proper elections can be reinstated and until the national crisis has ended, he will be the President with all full emergency powers as granted to him by the United States Consitution. He knows what to do and will continue my work."

Yeah. I agree, that's possible. My statement that you responded to didn't say that I didn't believe that was possible did it? After all, Richardson was clearly a man who planned for many different possible eventualities, he told his gaurds, for instance, that he was not to be used as leverage in a hostage situation. They were to just shoot through him.


Our disagreement lies in how Eden and Richardson got in contact with each other. You say they sent "runner robots to one another" over the country, I say that Eden simply contacted Richardson once he became self-aware.



How do you know this? That's not what he says.



Vertibird pick-up prehaps? With New Vegas we find that the Enclave had access to supply depots (like the refueling bunker). So cross country travel by vertibird is more plausible.



Yeah. He could have, at least intially. After a few decades or so, he would certainly know for sure that the plan failed. That they weren't able to get the FEV out, becuase nothing was killed.

But for awhile, it would have been difficult to tell if the FEV was actually released. It doesn't just take effect immedieatly after all, it has to have time to enter the jet-streams and begin to settle.



That all Enclave were on the Rig pre-war? Or more exactly, that all U.S. government officals who were part of the Oil Rig COG plan went to the Oil Rig pre-war? No. I don't believe that, because Eden clearly says they all didn't.

I do believe however, that they were eventually all able to meet up at the Oil Rig "In the decades following the war". Those that didn't make it probably just died off at some point.

Massive rescue via vertibiird seems sketchy to me. Utilizing a lot of resources to transport people 3k miles, again, directly after a nuclear war. Not only that, this mission would also be a gamble, because who survived, etc, when there are obviously other bunkers etc they can remain protected in.

Let's pretend some long range communications are not destroyed, disabled, broke. We can safely assume communications are not 100%. Even at 50% functioning, this means 50% of enclave in bunkers with no long range comm would know rig survived and received an order to go there. And I think it would be a lot less of functioning long range comm, meaning almost non-existent.

I really don't understand the problem with robot runners. It is a means of communication that has been used in game. They don't need to eat or sleep, and are immune to radiation. Eyebots are not impeded by destroyed infrastructure.

But, I could alsoo say Richardson put his memoirs on data disc and Autumn sr took that to Eden also.

First off, how would Richardson know to send runners to Raven Rock? How would Eden know where to send eyebots? According to you they have no communication. What, they just decided to send out random robots and hope to find something out there?

Even if those eyebots (if Eden sent them) made it to the shores of the west coast, they can't travel 100 miles across open ocean.
