Cannibalism and you.

Post » Mon Sep 26, 2011 12:55 pm

This topic has come up quite a bit recently where I live, so I decided to ask the question here. If you were given a legal opportunity to, would you try human meat? It could be any way you'd want it, it's not important. Cooked, raw, barbecued, etc. I personally never would, but my sister keeps saying she would pretty much every night at dinner, I want to reach a broader audience to see what other people think.

I agree with Fallout's take on this, a crime against humanity.

It's like mad cow disease except with people. It's caused from ingesting the same amino acids that your body already contains. It's only caused from eating the meat of your own species for an extended period of time.

Well, I don't know. It's part of another person. Eating a person isn't like eating an animal. Animals don't have personality or lively hood, or friends and family. They've got cubs and stuff but it's nothing like human connection.

I heard of a restaurant in Europe serving human meat on their menu. They claim that the human meat is a "delicacy" and people volunteer themselves to be served. It's like selling yourself to science once you die. So, it's not like they had a hit list and killed people for their meat. They made a list years ago of people volunteering themselves for a meal once they died. So the restaurant definitely put years of management in this. I read it in an article. But that business definitely won't last long, waiting 15 years to get a human ear soup. xDD
