Starting out a Hero, ending up a Villian.

Seems to happen to me in all Elder Scrolls games. Will that change in Skyrim? Once you've exhausted all the content, will there be anything fun to do besides murdering npcs and stealing everything in sight, that can be fun and noble at the same time? I want to be Mister Deeds, not Doctor Death for a change.

It depends on what you think of as 'boring'. If you're getting bored after doing most of the quests, start another character- there's so many options now with perks and the radiant AI system, I doubt anyone will get bored.

I believe there is much more to do in Skyrim, especially when you finish the game. I'm going to try to get total completion, and when I'm done with that, well... I'm still playing Oblivion and it's been 5 years, so I'm not too worried. Skyrim is going to make you weigh your decisions out a little bit more, so a brutal killing spree in Riverwood is probably not going to be on your to-do list.

False.

Every game gets boring. When it does, you turn it off and play something else.

Yeah, that is what I'm hoping for. Not that I don't enjoy the occasional town massacre every once in a while, but a few options to do something to help the community, instead of massacring it would be nice.

When my character is done, their story ends. Either a new one is started, or another game is played.

You never killed Rufio? I killed the poor bastard in his sleep, I kind of felt bad to be honest. I don't think he did anything bad.

Actually, if you talk to him it is revealed that he [censored] and murdered someone's daughter. So yes, he did do something bad.

They almost always have done something. The DB doesn't just kill; they kill when someone has a reason and prays for them too.

Cool, so now I don't feel bad that I stuck a knife in his neck. I never spoke to the dude so I had no idea he was a murderer.

Don't exhaust the content on first play through. Pick a specialization for your character, join appropriate guilds and factions. Then when you've exhausted that, start from scratch with a new build.

I created specific characters focusing the relevant skills of Questlines I wanted to explore, such as dark brotherhood or knights of the nine. Each character had their own personality. It doesn't have to be your main character, and another oppportunity to enjoy leveling is pretty good don't you think?

What i ment was that the npc's family will take their spot when you kill them so they do respawn in a way.

But that has nothing to do with what the OP was saying, especially since he especifically said after finishing all quests.

He said murdering npcs which i find fun, and i believe you can't finish all the quests since the random encounters like the people being kidnapped and taken to caves and what not.
