Well. I think that after being reassigned to Anvil he grew disillusioned with life in the Legion and became a kind of wandering, maverick crime fighter. He has travelled to Skyrim as past of his solemn vow do destory the theives guild and all its members.

What a guy!

^THIS I had a little bit of a story where one of my female characters (who was also the Gray Fox) was basically shacking up with Lex but he didn't know of her past with the Thieves Guild (or the fact that she was now the Gray Fox).
