I've been wondering what is the best armor for a stealth character. I remember hearing there was a suit of Chinese Stealth Armor in Hoover Dam, and wanted to snag it before I started killing NCR troopers for the Legion. Anyone found it? Do I need an absurdly high Lockpick skill to get at it? Is it just a rumor? Answers, I need 'em.

Apparently........ It's not Chinese stealth armour like you know it to be. By this, i think it looks the same, but its just been seriously nerfed down.......... So it might not be as good as you think it will be, Why not just stick with stealthboys?

It is there, i didn't need any lock picking, just look for a room full of green goo. Its in some boxes at the back, in the Hoover Dam offices. There should be 2 suits of it in the box, they look cool but only give you a +5 to stealth.
Theres also a power fist in the somewhere

Well, that svcks. I used them in Fallout 3 to steal everything from everyone. Now I'll have to find a different way to rob everyone blind. Maybe a mod can change it back to what is was.

That's svcks. They could have toned down the effectiveness of the stealth field (like make you easily detectable at close range, but invisible at long range), but omit it entirely? I guess they're really hell bent on making it harder for us...

Ah well, I guess that is out. I've got the Advanced Combat Armor Mark II reinforced to the Max Xtreme for men, which is nice, but it doesn't quite match my character stylistically.

Seriously...that svcks...the Stealth Suit was THE one thing I was looking forward to the most...without that Stealth Effect it doesn't have any right to exist at all...it is completely useless...

Well, damn and blast about the stealth suit and all, but does anyone have any other suggestions?
