Your very first Dragon encounter in Skyrim

If the dragon is far off in the distant i'll probably shoot a few arrows and see if it dents his health bar. If not, I'm running for it.

Spit in its eyes to stun it and then kick it in the Dragon BallZ.

I see what you did there... :P

On topic: Seeing as their the most badass things in all of Skyrim I'm probably going to end up running... But I will try to fight it first.

Most likely going to leg it. But it depends if I stand a chance, I don't want to take the fight to the poor villagers though.

I'll fire a few arrows just to be annoying, then flee for my life.

Not exactly sure. All depends on where I am at. If it is in an open area with not a lot of cover, I'm booking it as fast as I can. However...

If I have cover, definitely going to engage. When I play, I keep a fair mix of all combat styles. I'll go off what better suits more damage and go from there. If I keep taking hard hits even with having some cover, I'm doing above. Like was posted in a previous post, they are supposed the most powerful creatures of Skyrim. The first time I engage a Dragon, I know that I am not, and he/she is. I'll play my cards till I have to stand out.

IIRC a dev said that our first encounter is scripted and we have help.

I was thinking more along the lines of your very first non scripted encounter.
