Thalmor in Skyrim. : V

Okay so its been confirmed the Thalmor are in skyrim, i was wondering what everybodies feelings on this pro-aldmer group is and should they be joinable.

I'd be happy if the developments in other provinces (such as the re-establishing of the Aldmeri Dominion) play a role in Skyrim.

I don't think you can really "join" the Thalmor, but work for them, sure!

let them bejoinable, but i will slaughter dark lf supprters and dark elves (on my 2nd play thro, a bit), so they better be killable as well

It would likely be hard to give them much of a storyline, since almost all of what's really going on with them is in other provinces. I don't want them to be joinable if they don't have a compelling enough story to make it worthwhile.

Who or what is Thalmor?

They are the ruling political party in the Aldmeri Dominion in Valenwood and Summerset Isle.

And to my point
No they should not be a fraction in Skyrim maybe in Valenwood and Summerset Isle but not Skyrim.
However it would be cool if they added rumors about them in Skyrim.
im also a Cameron suppoter so im completly against the Thalmor so i wouldnt join them anyway

They should be present, but unless you're a pureblood Altmer, and even then pone who is actively anti-human, there as like to spear you as speak to you, so it's doubtful they'd be joinable.

Umm....the Camerons are Thalamor supporters. Most established Valenwood families are Thalamor supporters, as they all follow the plan:
1) Remove man from the wheel of possibility and the upstart Talos
2) ....
3) Profit!

And the second plan of:
1) Destroy this prison called Mundus (the mortal universe).
2) ...
3) Profit!

The only way I could see the Thalamor being present in Skyrim is to try and wake up Alduin, as they see him as Auriel, their savior.

Ah yes of course now I remember. I'm sure Thalmor was mentioned in the Pocket Guide to the Empire. Could be wrong though, I'd have to go through it again.
