@DCDeacon Can Children age in Skyrim? Also can your character have children of their own?

@GamerGirl002 children don't age

But he didn't say we couldn't have kiddies? Thoughts? Or has this already been discussed?

Haven't heard anything about this. I would say its a possibility. Will I use it much? Doubtful, unless its improved from fable.

Why not? If they do it right it could be a very cool thing. And even if you don't like it doesn't mean other people don't.

If I want kids I'll play Fable: TLC. :vaultboy:
I'm not sure about SK, I'm used to kids in Fable.

Looks like theres only going to be one age/model for children. So unless your wife is going to squirt out a talking walking 10 year old I doubt it. In fact I seriously hope it doesnt make it in, I dont know when it was decided that TES needed to be more like The Sims or Fable

It's just the wrong direction for the series to head in even if done right, which i'm certain it wouldn't be given the limitations of games. Leave that kind of [censored] to the Fable series.

Well, you can't know for sure. Sure, you might not like it, but some others might. What could having kids possibly turn into in future games? I wouldn't think anything bad, but I guess you never know.

He didn't say anything. He said children don't age. That's it. You are trying to create ice cream out of thin air.

- six with NPCs
- Pregnancies for female player-characters or NPCs
- Divorce
- Adoption for gay couples
- Sending your child to school

ugh...

All of that life sim [censored] comes across as gimmicky in video games... and it would be so wrong in TES, not to mention a complete and utter waste of dev time. NPC romance and marriage is bad enough.

he didnt say no

but the other day i asked my friend if i coudl cut him to test how sharp my knife was, he just glared at me and i knew not to cut him, maybe we are just good friends and i can read emotions, but not saying "no" does not mean yes i think

if you can have kids you better be able to kill them if you want to, because if my kid doesn't grow up to be a complete badass I'm starting over.
