I'm all for more content, so I couldn't be happier about it.

As I said in another topic, I think this will be a token feature at best, without a great deal of depth.

It's not something i'm keen on personally, but as long as it doesn't lead to crap like six with NPCs, pregancies, etc. later down the road, i'm fine just ignoring it.

I'n thinking of working my way up to the master of the thieve's guild, then marrying a hot, young, female Argonian, and proceed to shower her with riches and wealth. A nice, scaly, trophy wife...
Because, in real life, I have no riches to shower upon anyone. Not even myself. Fantasy FTW...

It may not be your thing, but there are many people who would enjoy those features and there's nothing wrong with that.

For me, I love the marriage option! It greatly deepens my RP experience. :celebration:

Marriage basically gives you a personal cook and a companion if you want one, I think its a nice addition. I doubt there is very much depth to it though.

Skeptical but as others said I like the idea of more options in a game. Hope there are some good companions to choose from.

I think the problem people like myself have with marriage is that they could have spent that time working on making rain not go through roofs, improving various graphical aspects and textures and making more quests rather than something stupid like getting married in the game.

They should have a "relationship" status and perk tree. You have to have good communication with your wife and keep a happy marriage. And the skill perks are things like, "Wife will keep the house 25% cleaner when you are gone."

That is complete sarcasm of course. I feel that marriage has no place in a TES game. Of course, that's just my personal opinion and I realize others will disagree.

It really seems bizarre to me to have your character get married in a game. It's almost like some people are living vicariously through their character in order to flirt with a girl and get married. :yuck:

I don't know, I don't really see myself getting married in this game. But I think it's pretty cool they added it

Neutral until I see how it works, if it's just a companion thing then I see no problems getting on as singles.
