Todd Howard says less leap forward

When people post an owl, you should assume they're being sarcastic. Especially after saying something sarcastically directed at those who would complain about such a thing.

I know. That owl was edited in after my post

Contestant number 1...

Come on down...
:celebrate:

Oh, give it a rest. Everyone should have expected less of a leap forward, not just "complainers". It's on the same hardware, and it's pushing it to it's limits. Going from the xbox to the 360 was both an upgrade in technology and technique. Sk will only be an upgrade in technique, so of corse it would be less of a jump forward. Everyone knows this, and while some are upset pcs are being held to a 360 standard no one is suprised by this. There's nothing for "complainers" to twist and mangle because it's common knowedge.

Its only realistic to think like this under the circumstances, but it still looks good right?

Still graphics does not make a game at all, it looks good yeah and its nice to have but it is not extremely disappointing for me to have a game that looks good and not head and shoulders above everything else.

I am more excited for the gameplay rather than the visuals and not because of the lack of visuals. I think the visuals are just fine. It's more along the lines of how amazing I think this game is going to be and how FUN it will be.

While the overall graphics (on the technical side) might not be that much of a leap, the aesthetics and art style have taken a rather large leap from Oblivion->Skyrim. Aesthetics>Graphics, and in Skyrim, we have a small step forward in Graphics, and a massive leap in aethetics AND art style.

My feelings exactly! Aesthetics are simply gorgeous.
