I noticed in the Sammuthegreat's wonderful post including all that juicy information that there is a perk under illusion that makes ALL spells cast silently. I remember a while back asking Pete Hines on Twitter about being able to be a more effecient stealth mage this time around and he gave me a very vague answer, in which you guys all tried to tear me a new one. I remember people saying "Derp, you could do that in oblivion derp" but it really wasn't all that effective to be honest. Let's admit it and move on. The point is I am excited to see that you can actually bring down the chances of detection while using spells now. It looks much more viable and frankly I am happy. It makes a lot of sense with things like Alteration that allow you to open locks. It also makes sense with the new detect life and frenzy spell. You have to channel detect life in order for it to work so it is always active. That means that it also makes you a target for detection. I think I am actually going to make me a good stealthy mage now. Anyone else excited about this? I can see some really amazing setups too. Use detect life to find targets, place rune spell on the floor, cast frenzy on one target and back away into hiding. Wait for the enemy to come looking for you and wait for him to run into your trap. Jump out and dual flames on him (since this was mentioned to be super powerful). That is an idea of mine.
