npc dual wield weapon

I'm working on a http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/310142-sunset-sarsaparillas-wild-wild-west-world/page__view__findpost__p__3604807 that will use gunslinger protectrons and I'd like them to dual wield some large caliber revolvers to double the damage output.

I am unclear about projectile nodes and was curious if I could have two? It seems like protectrons have more than one (headnode and the hand laser), but I don't think they fire simultaneously.



If I can't have two separate nodes what I'm thinking is having two projectiles from a single projectile node (which would be in teh middle of the two pistols). The guns would have to fire simultaneously and they would need new animations. It would actually be a (non-playable) completely new weapon. I guess the pistols would actually be one nif (much like a pair of boots is one nif) and considered a two handed weapon. I imagine I would also have to make a new nif of the bullets with two bullets (not overly different from the multiplas's 3 projectile nif) spaced wide enough apart to appear to come from each barrel. I don't know how a muzzle flash is generated, but hopefully one can go on each barrel.

Am I on the right track here, at least in principal/theory? Is there a better way?
