Collecting!

Brought back some of those freaky fungus/plants from the Shivering Isles to chuck around in front of the Leyawin house - you know, to brighten the place up a bit. Nobody seemed to notice however. Perhaps in Skyrim, if I don't get any compliments from the neighbors, at least people will steall them.

Books, definitely. Speaking of which, spell tomes remain in your inventory after you've learned the spell within, right? Collecting those will be fun too.

In part 2 of the demo vids, the fireball spell tome disappears when Todd uses it. Looks like you'll have to collect spare copies of the tomes if you want to both learn the spell and have a tome for your bookshelf.

Filling up the waterfront house with bones ftw! In F3 i would collect 8 balls and every kind of power armor and put it up for display, oh and cash, i filled up the closet room in megaton with lots and lots of cash :)

Im same with everybody in that i want to be able to buy display shelves for like books and stuff.

Hope they don't have levelled unique items in Skyrim, that was what i hated in oblivion, when you got something cool like Chillrend early on, only to find later it was near-uesless, I understand i could just wait to get it but this is really boring and just not good for the game at all.

I completely forgot about tableware mainly silver but pewter would be nice as well! Silver rings (mainly magical), books, statuettes, weapons/armor received from quests and so on...

A question about what you like to collect ingame if that is your fancy obviously! ;)

I always like to collect magical items that i received as a reward for a quest and such. Also gems in all sizes, rings, clothing (necro robes to keep score and the same with vampires if no ashes remain after the dead or they are too priceless not to sell)!

Also bowls, goblets and other assorted tableware made 'silver (i just love that material), pewter is also nice as "poor man's silver" and so on...

I like artifacts, magical items, jewelry, books and even more so rare books, silver, pewter, rare clutter items, one piece of every armor set and weapon one of every weapon. Clothes and anything unique, rare and intriguing. My Altmer is a collector of all rare and super expensive items.

Oh yes gems and alchemy sets and alchemy ingredients. Spell tomes are included in books I hope you can set them up!!!

As I did in Oblivion, i'm gonna collect every Color type of Hood.
I got them all in Oblivion Including S'drassa's Tan Hood and M'aiqs Tattered Hood which both are One of a Kind Items... Until I duped them :D

I've chosen something to collect since my first run through Morrowind. I started with lit torches, and once every lantern I came across. Once I started oblivion I chose a different object from the intro dungeon to collect. Once skulls, another time shields, my last character set aside each helm he used in his home in Layawin after upgrading armor. I'm thinking books and fine wine, or another luxury item for my first Skyrim play-through.

I am going to probably play this game through the first time without looting every body. I just really want to try it... Not hoarding...
