I've searched, but I can't seem to find any information on this.

Has there been any discussion on the size of the game physically? How large the install on PC? How many discs for the 360? Etc?

I'm really only interested because I recently found out RAGE (id Software's new shooter coming out next week) will be a single Blu-Ray with an 8GB required install on the PS3 and 3 DVDs on the 360 ...

In the past, large games that require multiple discs were because of large amounts of video cut scenes (or in the case of LA Noire, their semi-realistic face mapping tech). But while Skyrim probably won't have inordinate amounts of video, the game is noticeably larger than even Fallout 3 or New Vegas.

So ... anyone know anything?

Did they confirm 26 GB? I thought they weren't releasing specs until October.

That would be more funny if you did the math right. 26GB is 18489 standard 1.44MB 3.5" Floppies.

The post wouldn't have made sense if it were only ONE random number.
