BGS announced a partial list of the voice cast for Skyrim and Vladimir Kulich was on the list! He played Buliwyf (pronounced Bullvie) in "The 13th Warrior" - he was the leader/King of the Northmen [Vikings] and was as stoic as you can get. He was also a badass and he made several scenes of the movie very memorable to me.

A while ago, I asked Pete Hines via Twitter if the Skyrim design team watched "The 13th Warrior" for inspiration. Well, I suppose they were very inspired, since they cast Vladimir Kulich as one of the Nord warrior leaders!

Oh, THAT movie... Meh.

I remember that movie from my high school English class..

There are some problems with the movie (the armor of the main group of warriors...although I guess they wanted to show they traveled far and wide...but gladiator helmets? Spanish conquistador helmet? Full plate?)

But overall I loved it, the book it's based on dig a great job of mixing history and legend (Ibn Fadlan's document of his encounter with vikings/Beowulf) and and I've always thought Vladimir Kulich would be a perfect voice actor for a Nord.
