Tavern Groups:

• Groups gathered around one guy as he tells his grand tales or adventures
  
• Groups gathered together to sing war songs/bar songs.
  
• Groups of rowdy Nords or Orcs, drunken and ready for a fight.
  
• Shady characters in the corners of the Tavern who give you unique quests.
  
• A Bard singing tales (which we've seen already)
  
• Drinking Competitions (confirmed?)
  
• Competitions of Strength
  
• Various tavern staff:
  -A fat Bar Keeper who you see either wiping out mugs with a cloth or wiping down the bar.
  -Bar wenches (confirmed)
  -A bar hand carrying barrels to and fro from a cellar
  -Bar Keeper's wife

I with you on most of these but especially if a group of drunken Nords and Orcs just started goin' at it this will be the best game ever. :foodndrink:

Some? How about all. I love the idea of a Tavern or Inn being the starting point or junction between adventures, and having memorable characters and atmosphere makes it even better. I hope some of the Inns have different feels, maybe an Inn secretly run by Rebels where they hold clandestine meetings in the cellar, another Tavern home to an ousted clan of Orcs. Things that give each Tavern even more flavour.

yes, how could I forget about the roasted boar cooking over a warm fire

I want bar fights which end with everyone out cold only to wake up to the sweet smell of meat roasting over an open fire, the flames flickering casting a warm glow all over the room as it snows outside, everyone drinking and singing a toon. The fights will resume after the warm food and drink gets back into their stumachs, but until then you'd never seen closer friends. That's the life a Nord would be proud and happy to live.

It should feel like a community. People should be calling others by name, tellen em to bring more food and drink over. I really hope I can tell some of my adventures to a tavern in my chosen home town around a fireplace/pit while they react to my crazy stories.

wow. you hit the nail there bud. 100 ... i would like to see maybe a drunk brute picking fights w the pc and have it be a h2h sitch. also, maybe the drunk starts the fight based on ur allegiance , race,etc?

I hope there's some taverns that aren't just an interior. I hope there are some taverns that have back decks with lute and flute players and something similar to a tiki bar.
