So RAGE is released on 10/4. This only means one thing to me, more official Skyrim promotions. I'm expecting a TV trailer and maybe an extended trailer.

Are you guys expecting anything different? Do you think Bethesda will possibly be releasing one video every week until 11/11?

Just a little over a month until launch now. Pete said the Dovahkiin statues will be arriving at retailers in a couple weeks as well as the PC specs being announced in a couple weeks. October should have some goodies coming our way. Last month before the big launch.

Not a video a week, maby a screenshot to feed us in October.

Meh.. I don't watch TV anyway. I am hoping they release a bit more gameplay.

I really thought about buying RAGE, although I don't like FPS at all.
First, it will give Beth the right sign that PC gaming is a viable market, and second, I need something to take my mind off for the next 40 days. :ahhh:

I just have a bad feeling about Rage, I think it's going to flop.

Rage looks sick...trust me it will be amazing and its on the ps3/xbox and pc.....been waiting for 2 years for rage

I just don't see the appeal in Rage. What does it do better then anything else out there? The vehicle animations look stiff as a board, and the FPS elements seem run of the mill. Nice graphics, but there doesn't seem to be any environmental interactivity. It's a stagnating genre.

Agree, but we'll see. I am also needing a game to tide me over until Uncharted 3 and Skyrim. I am waiting until reviews are released for Rage before I make a decision between Dead Island and Rage. I am really keeping my fingers crossed for Rage and Beth of course. To the other point of this thread, I think October will have more than just a few screenshots, I think we will begin to see a significant ramp in promotional content that will include short snippets of gameplay just like they did with Oblivion before its release.

people who play on PCs probably just went out and bought the most powerful PC parts money could buy, anyway... so i doubt they even need to know the specs.

i honestly hope not much comes out during october, other than just skyrim being promoted more with advertisemants, because if we get more screens/videos/whatever... that is just going to make the month of october feel like an entire year in itself, cause the hype will be shot through the roof again.
