Quests and Game Content, Clearing things.

Post » Fri Sep 30, 2011 8:50 am

Ok to clear things up for all the Cry babies :) , here is the offical tweets from Pete, about the amount of quests/ content

1)new recent Tweet:

@DCDeacon There going mad they think theres only 140 quest!!!11

@dinocrush1997 Oh noes!! I don't know what the number is, but it's got more content than OB ever thought of, so relax!!!

2)older Tweet :

Someone asked Pete how many quests there are in the game and he answered

"Because of Radiant Story stuff, it's hard to put a number on it. It's probably about 5x the size of Fallout 3, for comparison."

ok then: fallout 3 had 37 quests X5 is 140 quests in skyrim, this was debunked from recent tweet claiming there is More game content then Oblivion ever had.

now some people said that "Content" doesnt mean number of quests, now im pretty sure they stated twice they dunno the amount of quests exactly, and they meant in both tweets that the game is going to be Bigger then Oblivion in amount of quests.

what do you guys think?

I place a lot of importance on how many ways to complete the quest there are, how complex it is, how well interesting it is, as well as how fun it it. I believe there should be more quality quests and not just filler. Fallout 3 did it superbly.

I am sure there will be the occasional kill 5 rats in cellar type of quest but i agree i want magical quests with interesting, quirky and odd storylines.

Yes. This is the way I look at it as well.

Number doesn't mean anything to me. Quality, length and complexity are far more important. I want a compelling experience, not the "most quests ever!!"

I think there will be a ton more of quests than oblivion had, Todd said in his Gamespot demo ( or somewhere else, not sure) that they were foccusing on shorter more fun quests then the lengthy mini-stories fallout had.

not sur if this is a plus or a minus :P
