Theres not enough of them in the game :sadvaultboy: . I liked how in F3 when you would go to a place noone has been in ages, it would be full of roaches. F:NV has roaches AND mantis, I think they could have placed them at alot more places. Like the police station near primm, it had alot of giant mantis in it.

Killing them is not a problem, especially the mantis, you can just walk over them and kill some of them, i think the nymphs. Its about the environment.

But radroaches and mantises would prove no challenge in getting loot from abandoned buildings. Unless those mantises were big ones......hope they're not as big as Zion Mantises.

Yes thats what i said. I didnt mean that they should be included for challenge, but rather for immersion. They are underused in the game.

Well, yeah, they are a bit underused. It seems that Fallout New Vegas is all about people. Every time you enter a building, you see people, and there aren't many abandoned areas in FNV. The only creatures that are here often are Cazadores, Deathclaws, and Radscorpions.

What annoys me and ruins immersion is that when you go to Freeside, you hear everything about the people of Freeside, but you will see like one or if your lucky two freeside civilains in the street and the rest are Kings or that creepy old Ben guy who states the rather obvious.
