I wonder if we will get illustrated books like an atlas of sorts or a bestiary.

Pete did tweet that there are "more than just normal books" for example he said a kid gave him a Choose Your Own Adventure Book! :vaultboy: This really excites me, I hope a lot of effort goes into the books.

And are we really freaking out over the thought of an illustrated version of the Lusty Argonian Maid?

I like the lore and the sense of depth that the books bring to TES titles but I wish they would sometimes provide information that would aid in gameplay. Provide a hint about a dungeon, location of a hidden treasure, something that would help tie the books to the game as opposed to being a background item.

You think Barenziah's foster home will be in Skyrim? I read the Biography (the happy version) and hope there are some references or easter eggs.

They better still have "ABCs for Barbarians" - I could do with a bit of catch-up on my reading skills...

On actual topic.

Of course. Books is in part the core of TES. The ability to soak yourself in the lore of a timeless world that have existed long before the character creation screen :)

Edit: Don't believe my sig.

I'm sure a lot of books are making a comeback. That's not bad, per se. Here's to hoping that there are a ton of new books too though!

Totally was thinking of making a Khajiit named Therris. lol
Also, I really want to visit Solitude and check up on The Wolf Queen.

My favorite story from the TES books is the story about the guy who's walking alongside the vampire and only figures it out just as it's about to devour him.
