Since Maiq is apparently returning, I was wondering if either The Adoring Fan will return or one of his great grandchildren. Even a reference to him would be funny, and I would hope that Bethesda makes a few. Do any of you want to see either the fan himself, his great grandchildren, or references to him?

I imagine that even if he doesn't return, Bethesda will still add a derpy Bosmer somewhere to continue the tradition.

Another possibility is the opposite of the Adoring Fan, a buff, dragon slaying Bosmer who duel wields katanas and speaks with a grizzlyman voice being our famous Bosmer follower.

I want someone to make a mod that adds him to the game with the exact same graphics seen in Oblivion.

Yeah, I want a battlemode adoring fan with duel blades and a ego that only submits to his champion.

I'm not going to lie... I saw this... and I immediately thought of the Tribunal expansion for morrowind, with that godawful giant Dwemer Ruin with the name I can't ever remember.

One of the only things I liked about that ruin (and I have -always- loved Dwemer ruins) were the massive ceiling fans.


Now that I see this is a thread about the Adoring Fan... I find myself a bit saddened. I suppose if he -were- to make some sort of an Easter Egg reappearance, then perhaps so too could those giant ceiling fans... maybe as a way of killing him amusingly.

I want to see his great grandson be an insanely hard-to-defeat Gladiator/Adventurer in Skyrim. And, even though he'll be all muscled and epic, he'll still have that bright yellow Jimmy Neutron hair...

Sure, I want a reference to the Adoring Fan in Skyrim - you know, like finding a deep tomb beneath the earth, sealed away with dire warnings and admonitions to turn back, with a Bosmer skeleton inside buried under rocks and with about a dozen swords sticking out the rib-cage - rusty swords, which, upon examination, will be revealed to have already been rusty when thrust into the body. Inscriptions scratched all into the walls, you know, stuff like 'mistake of the gods', 'the worst thing to come out of the Oblivion crisis', stuff like that.

I think there should just be a reference to him. Also, I think M'Aiq shouldn't simply be back or a reletive of his. I think M'Aiq should be a deadra or one of the forms one of the Princes take. Or perhaps one of the divines? That would explain his still being alive. Just a thought
