I set up residence at the Prospecter's Den cause it had a campfire and I stumbled across http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Harper%27s_shack. I've seen this shack many times but never realized this:

Harper's Shack has a Work Bench AND a Reloading Bench AND a Campfire. This has to be the only area in the entire wasteland that has all three service work stations.

I don't remember that location. I guess I'll have to look in Prima's guide book.

I use the motel room in Novac as base camp because A. its a central location for the most part B. the containers are safe C. it has shop, campfire, bench, reload table, doc and other stuff with in a very short distance D. the fast travel spot is basically right outside the room and E. there is a drop-box in the lobby and i don't know about you guys but i have TONS of crap i haul to it all the time just in case i may need it.
